Naruto Chapter 313 and Chapter 314
Chapter 313 Summary
This chapter is filled with action, but it has only one single plot -- Nibi is captured by the two Akatsuki Hidan and Kakuzu. "Two-tails" Jinchūriki is able to changed into her Nibi form very quickly unlike Gaara and Naruto. Hidan and Kakuzu performed some sort of ritual after then have captured her.
In Konoha, Asuma is about to tell Kakashi something when Kurenai went to Kakashi's room to fetch Asuma. Kakashi never got his questions answered...Asuma will tell Kakashi later.
Hidan and Kakuzu are going to Konoha directly to get another Jinchūriki for the Akatsuki.
Chapter 314 Summary
Zetsu met up with Hidan and Kakuzu and he offered to take the Nibi back to the Akatsuki so they can extract the demon. Hidan and Kakuzu continue to Konoha -- Fire Temple. There, they meet the monk Chiriku who was the leader of an elite squad that used to protect the Lord Hokage, "The 12 Ninja Guards". They killed Chiriku and cannot find what they were looking for. Another monk in the temple went to warn the Leaf.
Kakashi is now training Naruto. He tells Naruto that in order to create the Ultimate jutsu, he need to understand the techniques for changing his chakra's nature and its shape. Nartuo's Rasengan only change his chakra's shape, but not it's nature. Rasengan requires the user to rotate raw chakra wildly, at extreme speeds, and compress the energy into a ball. The nature of the chakra is not changed; Resengan only creates a chakra ball. However, Kakashi's Chidori changes both shape and nature. When using the Chidori, he manipulates the nature of his chakra to be like an electric current, and its shape to that of an electic surge. There is another cliffhanger -- once again, we are not told how Kakashi is going to shorten Naruto's training time.

Asuma's full name is Asuma Sarutobi. Fans always wondered whether he and Sandaime are related. Sandaime was always called as Sarutobi-sensei by Jiraiya and Tusnade. Sarutobi could be Sandaime's first or last name. Now, it is confirmed that it is a last name -- there exists a Sarutobi clan. Asuma and the Third are related -- father and son. We now know more about Sandaime's family. Asuma is Konohamaru's uncle.
