Fireworks
They have banned fireworks on Halloween at the area where I live...too bad...but this still does not keep ppl from lighting them up. You can hear and see them at night...you can still buy fireworks if you know where to look. ;p

Black Bears
I have had close encounter with wildlife where I live:
coyotes
deers
raccoons (really big)
bunnies
snakes
dead rats
but never with black bears (which I hope I will never encounter)...

A month ago, a couple of Black Bears (mother and her cubs) went into my neighbor's garage at night -- they left their garage door open so the bears can just walk in. The bears turn over several garbage cans and left trash all over the driveway and the road...On the news several weeks ago, there is a lady that lived in Port Moody (very close to where I live) who got attacked by the bear. It is a mother bear with cubs as well, probably the same one that came to my neighbor house.

Today, someone smashed a pumpkin on the road across from my house and stuff are everywhere. No one will clean them of course (seeing how they don't shovel the snow in winter). This will just attract the bears...Hopefully, the rain will clear them out tomorrow. I don't wanna get attacked on Monday morning when I leave for work. They don't come out at 6am in the morning do they?

This chapter goes back to Konoha. No one in the village seems to know about Asuma's death.

It continues with Naruto's training where several of his clones almost transform into Kyuubi. Yamato is there to stop it. Naruto is frustrated on how he cannot combine his wind element into resengan, "can't turn your head left when someone tells you to turn right". Kakashi then uses a shadow clone to demonstrate the solution. Kakashi looks one way and his clone looks the other. This gives Naruto a hint for his new jutsu. (It is my belief that he will now use two shadow clones + himself for the jutsu ==> where two of them form the resengan and one will form the wind element).

Outside of Konoha, the Akatsuki gather to seal the sanbi and nibi. Hidan is angry as to why he has to come back during the fight, when he is so close to finishing Asuma. It appears that next to Tobi, Hidan is the second newest member and does not know the goal of the Akatsuki. There is a huge dialogue in the manga between AL and Hidan where AL ask Hidan to not look at Konoha lightly (there are many who inherit the Will of the Fire) and explain the Akatsuki's goal. -- Their goals currently consist of making money and capturing + sealing the bijus. They are going to use the bijus to create wars between the countries. These are smaller goals which will lead to the ultimate plan -- WORLD DOMINATION!!!


Next week -- Kishimoto will take a break to gather more information for the manga -- so no Naruto next week =( (But I still have my One Piece and Bleach fix)

MCR is one of my fav bands. I love this album, more than Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge even...I think this is one of the best album they have ever released. The album is about a character named The Patient and about how he faces death. The Patient dies of cancer. Gerard said in an interview "This album is a story of a man, known as The Patient who dies in a hospital. He goes on an odyssey and examines his life and the mistakes he has made. His strongest memory is his dad taking him to a parade when he was a child. So when death comes for him, it comes in the form of a black parade."

MCR experimented with different sounds - most noticeably marching band drums in Welcome to the Black Parade. This album is opera-theatrical. They also have ballads. Most of the songs are really catchy. I find the Hidden Track really funny =) There are a few songs that reminded me of Green Day.

The raw is not out yet, but if the spoilers are true, Asuma died. He says his last words to his Team 10, some flashbacks, smokes his last cigarette and dies...

Damn...Asuma is one of the Jounin's that I like. He was pretty funny when Itachi was there fighting them with Kisame after the Konoha Invasion Arc...Gai was there to save them.

EDIT: [2006-10-20] The RAW is out and the spoilers are true. The Third Hokage's son Sarubto Asuma died. (;.;)!!! Konohamaru may be one of the last Sarutobi - as his uncle? and grandpa now died. His death is kinda forshadowed when he looked at the Third's statue...Asuma is as cool as Kakashi.

This chapter is the conclusion of the Team Asuma and Akatsuki fight.

Asuma collapsed after Hidan striked the fatal blow. Shika became very angry and ran at Hidan without any plans. Kakuzu threw Shika to Izumo/Kotetsu. Before Hidan and Kakuzu had a chance to end the fight, the backup team had arrived -- Ino/Choji/Raidou/Aoba (if you re-read the manga, you will find these two Jounin in the Konoha Invasion/Chunin Exam arc -- Aoba is the person who caused Sasuke to ran after Naruto to fight Itachi).

Ino and Choji helped Shika to get Asuma out of the way; Shika ordered them to bring Asuma to the hospital and asked Ino to use any medical jutsu to help to heal Asuma. Asuma is in critical condition. Kakuzu did not wanted his bounty to get away; Hidan and Kakuzu wanted to fight the backup team...However, at the same time they got a message from the Akatsuki Leader who asked them to go back to seal the Sanbi. Hidan and Kakuzu stopped the fight and hurry back.

*The irony in this chapter is that -- it is not the backup team who saved them; it is Akatsuki Leader. * Also, in the chapter, we are able to see the lower part of Akatsuki Leader's face.

Hidan and Kakuzu are the freakiest duo from the Akatsuki. Zetsu is freaky, but not as freakier than them. Itachi/Kisame is the most normal pair; at least they fight like normal ninjas.

Hidan's head is still talking even it is chopped off. Team Asuma think that they only need to deal with Kakuzu as Hidan is out of the fight and his jutsu is broken. However, because Hidan asked for help, Kakuzu will stay involve with the fight.

Kakuzu knocked Asuma down and grab Hidan's headless body. Then, he uses the threads that come out of his body and sews Hidan's head back to his body. He tells Hidan to not to scratch the stiches; he asks Hidan to take care of Asuma and he will take care of the rest.

Hidan is trying to get back to his ceremony circle. Izumo and Kotetsu tried to intervine, but Kakuzu grabs their necks. Kakuzu has done modifications to his body; he is able to take of the stiches on his arms and launch his hands (still attached to his arms via the threads -- you will need to read the manga to understand) to the enemy.

Hidan is now back in his circle and stabs himself fatally.
