It's time to catch up on the summary, which I will not bother to do for some of them =P. I will just write a summary for the latest chapter for this week. The other chapters' summary will be taken from wikipedia again.
Naruto Chapter 319, 320, 321 - Summary from WikipediaMeanwhile, the next step of Naruto's training is progressing slowly with only eleven clones attempting to cut the waterfall. When Naruto complains, Kakashi notes that even Sasuke, who's a genius, took several days to learn to manipulate lighting, while Naruto did it in a few hours. This drives Naruto to train harder. Yamato, looking on, decides to give in and extends the size of the waterfall, completely exhausting himself in the process. With more room, Naruto makes more shadow clones and continues training.
By nightfall, Naruto hasn't managed to cut the waterfall. Elsewhere, Sakura sheds a single tear as she looks at a picture of the original three members of Team 7. Back at the waterfall, Naruto reflects on his fonder memories of Sasuke and decides to train through the rest of the night, and finally by the next day, he and all his clones are able to cut the waterfall. Yamato is completely amazed that Naruto could cut the waterfall so quickly, but not Kakashi, who explains that Naruto's desire to become stronger than Sasuke is what allowed him to get so far.
Asuma's team arrives at the destroyed Fire Temple and examine the ruins. Looking over the coffins, Asuma comments that he doesn't see the Head Monk Chiriku's body. The survivors comment that they have been unable to find his body, but Izumo thinks he knows why. He tells Asuma that Chiriku had a 30 million ryou bounty and the Akatsuki pair may have taken it to collect the reward. Realizing this is a possiblity Shikamaru comments that they would have to find a 'bounty station' to collect and Izumo says there are five in the vicinity of the temple. They prepare to head for the closest one and send messenger birds to teams near the other four. Before they leave, one of the monks asks if he can pray for Asuma's team before they go into battle.
Naruto is ecstatic that he finally cut the waterfall and Kakashi says they can finally move into the final stage of Naruto's unique jutsu creation. Suddenly all of Naruto's clones disperse and Naruto collapses in a fit of spasms and coughs. Kakashi immediately rushes to his side concerned that he may have pushed Naruto too far this time. However, when Naruto moans that he's hungry, Kakashi relaxes and smiles. The monk has finished praying for Asuma, and comments that he noticed that Asuma wears the same sash as Chiriku did. He ask him to be careful since all the 12 guardian ninja have large bounties. Asuma thanks him for his concern but says that it won't be that easy to kill him, since his bounty is even higher than Chiriku's was; 5,000,000 Ryou more.
[This part at the Ichiraku Ramen and the Bounty Station are pretty funny =)...I really like Hidan (it seems like there is someone really funny for each pair of Akatsuki, e.g. Tobi)]At the Ichiraku Ramen stand Kakashi asks where Ayame has gone and the owner says she went on a trip. In the meantime, he hired two assistants, Nishi and Matsu. Naruto, face down and drooling on the counter, moans again for ramen and Matsu serves him a large bowl of pork ramen. However, he accidently puts a small portion of his thumb in the soup and the owner yells at him that he can't serve that ramen now and takes it away from a distraught Naruto. He orders Nishi to get another bowl and Naruto tells him to hurry, drooling even heavier. Nishi comes running with another bowl but trips on his sandal and spills the soup all over Matsu. Kakashi, Yamato and Naruto can only look on with dumb-founded looks at all the insanity. Kakashi tries to calm the owner down as Matsu and Nishi cower and Naruto only sinks deeper into a drooling stupor.
Kakuzu and Hidan stand inside a public bathroom, and a wall panel between two toilets opens. Hidan can't believe that somebody would stick a bounty station inside a bathroom. The collector confirms that the body is Chiriku and hands over the bounty to Kakuzu commenting that he's brought him a fine catch this time. Hidan continues to complain loudly about the smell. Hidan wants to leave but Kakuzu says he's going to count the money first. Hidan comments that he doesn't know if its the smell of piss or of bodies but he's never coming there again and leaves. Naruto is finally enjoying his ramen and Yamato comments to himself that he can't eat this 'thing', referring to the ramen. Naruto finishes and says he's ready to get back to training. However, Kakashi stops him and says before they do that he has something 'rather interesting' to show Naruto first. Kakashi ask Yamato to pay the bill, but Yamato comments that it's usually the Senpai's (Senior's) responsibility to handle the bill. Kakashi comments that when it comes to respect there's no such thing as Senpai or Kohai (Junior). However, Kakashi comments that out of all the Kohai he's had, he only recognizes Yamato, and says he'll get the bill. Yamato stops him saying he'll get the bill, feeling embarrassed by Kakashi's comments. Behind him Naruto snickers saying that Kakashi has a way with words.
Back on the practice field, Naruto is anxious to see what Kakashi has to show him. Kakashi asks Naruto what the other form of chakra control was beside 'Nature Manipulation', but Naruto can't remember so Kakashi has to explain again. Using Chidori as an example again, he explains that after manipulating chakra into energy you alter the shape of the chakra to determine its range and power. Yamato adds that by adding 'nature manipulation' together with 'form manipulation' a ninja's power can grow by leaps and bounds. Kakashi reminds Naruto that all the training till now has been 'nature manipulation' and that Rasengan is an example of extremely advanced 'form manipulation'. After thinking for a few moments, Naruto comments that because he can use Rasengan, he can now do both forms of manipulation, and thinks he'll not have trouble creating his new jutsu now. Kakashi comments that if it was that simple he would not have needed to invent Chidori. Naruto doesn't understand so Kakashi demonstrates what he said he would show Naruto back at the Ramen Stand. As a shocked Naruto watches, Kakashi forms a Rasengan in his hand.
Naruto can't believe Kakashi has been able to use Rasengan all this time. Kakashi comments that he can only use it up to that 'point', that he is unable to fuse his lightning chakra with it. Yamato comments that it takes a tremendous amount of skill to use 'form' and 'nature' manipulations simultaneously, or more specifically it takes a special ability. Kakashi points out that he isn't the only one unable to fuse nature manipulated chakra with the Rasengan; its inventor, the Fourth Hokage, couldn't do it either. The Fourth took form manipulation to its highest level in the form of Rasengan, and that he wanted to fuse his nature manipulated chakra with it next, but was never able to do it. Naruto then realizes that the Rasengan is only a 'half completed' jutsu. Kakashi tells Naruto that there is still an S-Ranked or even higher level jutsu waiting to be discovered by 'completing' the Rasengan, but it may not be possible at all. He tells Naruto that he can no longer help Naruto discover this technique, that Naruto will have to do it on his own. He's telling Naruto this because he believe that Naruto is the one who will finally surpass the Fourth Hokage. He tells Naruto to rest before starting his training as he leaves with Yamato. Yamato comments that he has a way with words, but Kakashi corrects Yamato saying that he truly believes what he said about Naruto. Naruto watches them leave with a look of pure determination and prepares to summon his clones.
Naruto Chapter 322At the Bounty Station, Kakuzu is preparing to leave. The Collector commented to Kakuzu to get another partner, as Hidan will not bring Kakuzu any money. Kakuzu agrees.
Meanwhile, Asuma's team are heading to the bounty station. Shikamaru asked Asuma how he knew Chiriku. Asuma told them that he and Chiriku both belonged to the 12 Guardian Ninja of Konoha; his relationship with Chiriku is like Shikamaru's relationship with Choji. Asuma thanks Shikamaru for his concern; his reason of stopping smoking is not because of Chiriku's death. He was just worried about the Akatsuki.
Back at the bounty station, Kakuzu said that there is is no other person he can work with. Every partner that he has paired with has died. When he gets angry, his killing instinct raises and he kills them. He tolerate Hidan because he cannot be killed!!
Naruto is again using his clones to train. He makes another attempt to fuse wind into the Rasengan with the help of a clone, but his jutsu explodes and kills his own clones. He stated that it already takes an intense amount of chakra just to create the Rasengan, but using nature manipulated chakra to add to it as well seems impossible. He makes another attempt to fuse them, but he accidently brings out Kyuubi's chakra and 4 tails almost formed. Kakashi and Yamato panic. Yamato again uses his seal to restrain the Kyubi's chakra. All the dragon-headed statues that Yamato's jutsu created moved towards Naruto, each mouth of the dragons clamp onto the tails and consume the Kyuubi's chakra. Yamato is exhaused and tells Kakashi that he can't keep pushing Naruto like this. He won't always be there to control the Kyuubi. Kakashi tells him that Yamato is the only thing/person that can help Naruto to succeed in learning the jutsu -- his ability to control Kyuubi. Yamato says he understands. Naruto lies unconscious on the ground. ** This is the second time that Kakashi uses Yamato's real name.
Outside of the bounty station, Hidan remarks how his cloths stink even he went in there for a few minutes. After hearing movement behind him, he look back thinking that Kakuzu is finally coming outside. But, it is Asuma and his team instead. Hidan easily deflects Asuma's attack. Izumo and Kotetsu then charge in from both sides of Hidan with katana (or kunai?). Hidan is unable to move -- Shikamaru uses his shadow bind jutsu to freeze him. Izumo and Kotetsu drive their weapons into Hidan's chest. Hidan is injured, but he calmly just says, 'ouch', and asking who Asuma's group are.
*** It is my believe that Hidan is like Sasori; they cannot be killed normally. But, they have a weakest link and still can die.
